Our Process

The process for treating vertigo is rooted in performing and repeating neurological activities and exercises until these cognitive enhancements become permanent functions. Through our research and findings, our program was developed as a simple and effective three-step process. In fact, more than 80 percent of our patients never need to return to our office.

1. Diagnostics

Using a variety of tools and cutting-edge technologies, we perform physical and cognitive assessments to analyze specific data about your brain health. This helps us determine how your brain is receiving, interpreting and responding to information. Then we formulate a custom treatment plan that will lead you to neurological recovery.

2. Exercising the Brain

We will perform a variety of ReceptorBased® exercises to activate the brain. These may involve individual and combined activities that utilize numerous senses, including eye exercises, vestibular stimulation, physical large joint and gait therapies and nerve stimulation, among many others. These exercises are meant to train the brain through repetition and specificity in order for it to permanently change.

3. Home Treatment

Therapy and recovery do not stop when you leave our office. For at-home treatment, you will be provided an exit binder that includes exercises and therapies to do in the comfort of your own home. Your doctor will train you and offer recommendations on length of time to perform these exercises based on your custom treatment plan. If our doctors think ongoing care will benefit you, they may pair you with one of our NeuroNetwork™ doctors, or other appropriate referral, who will work with you after you are discharged from our facility.

What to Expect

  • You will receive a comprehensive assessment utilizing our cutting-edge technology, and the experience of our world-renowned doctors.
  • You will receive three (3) sessions each day, for five (5) consecutive days.
  • We will utilize objective measurements to track and report your progress, and adjust your therapy plan as indicated.
  • On your discharge day, our team of Plasticity® doctors will make sure you are set up for success, providing you with an individualized at-home treatment plan and a referral if needed.
