Matthew M. Antonucci, DC, DACNB, FACFN, FABCDD, FABVR, FABNN, FABBIR, FICC, lead clinician and Director of Neurological Performance and Rehabilitation for Plasticity Brain Centers will be presenting at the 2017 ACA Sports Council Symposium. The symposium will take place Oct 13-14 at the Embassy Suites Downtown in Denver, Colorado.

The annual symposium brings together the best minds in the field of sports chiropractic for educational sessions, social events, and student poster presentations. Speakers will present on subjects ranging from proper nutrition for exercise, to the benefits and legal aspects of chiropractic's role in sports rehabilitation and optimization.

For his presentation, Antonucci will be discussing the vestibular system, its effects on balance and sports performance, and how functional neurology can rehabilitate those with vestibular dysfunction.

Plasticity Brain Centers provides both rehabilitative and performance optimization services to athletes. For those on concussion protocol, Plasticity can identify the area of the brain being affected by the trauma, and retrain your brain through eye movements, cognitive tasks, reflexes, or other methods that correspond to the particular injury. And for those suffering from balance-related issues, we can incorporate vestibular rehabilitation into their program.

Plasticity Brain Centers offers non-invasive neuro rehabilitation based on a single scientific principle: the brain is capable of learning and changing throughout a patient's entire life. This is made possible through engagement with targeted neuro-receptors in a concept known as "neuroplasticity," an approach widely accepted by the scientific community, only available in leading-edge treatment centers.
