AD/HD & Dyslexia

What you need to know about AD/HD & Dyslexia

Millions, both young and old, struggle with learning and maximizing their effectiveness due to learning challenges such as dyslexia and AD/HD. Dyslexia is a complicated neurological condition, classified as a language and sensory processing disorder, and most often associated with reading challenges. ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder), ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), collectively termed AD/HD, is also a neurological disorder that can be acquired or developmental, which affects alertness, attention, focus, learning, and behavior. We have many ways to improve these conditions.

How we Treat AD/HD & Dyslexia

All learning disorders have a breakdown in one or more components: sensory acquisition, storage, and information retrieval. All components require alertness (e.g. ADD), attention (e.g. ADHD), and sensory coordination (e.g. eye movements, sound processing). There are very specific networks of the brain that provide us with these functions, and are accessible with the proper technology and training. The more elusive "secrets" to successful resolution of AD/HD and dyslexia, often do not involve medications. They involve 1) identifying and fixing all sensory processing issues; 2) introducing stimuli that create alertness; 3) strengthening the regions of the brain responsible for focus. We have experts in the field that are able to deliver on all 3 of these steps and produce results in as little as five days.
